We were founded with a clear objective: to elevate these artisans on a global stage. By bridging the gap between local weavers and international buyers, we create pathways for fair trade while actively preserving a vital piece of cultural heritage.
While our roots are firmly planted in Ewe Kente, our dedication to textile preservation goes further. We also curate vintage African textiles, celebrating the broader narrative of regional craftsmanship and design.

Cultural Heritage
Ewe Kente Tradition
While Kente is often broadly associated with Ghana, the Ewe people of the Volta Region, stretching across parts of Togo and Ghana, have been weaving their own distinct form of Kente for centuries. Ewe Kente is renowned for its pictorial symbols, intricate storytelling patterns, and rich colour combinations.
The Volta Region is home to countless master weavers. You can walk through many of our communities and hear the clack of wooden looms, seeing yards of brilliant fabric stretched under the sun to dry. It is a celebrated weaving tradition that binds our communities together.
Ewe Kente patterns carry profound meaning. Each colour and motif is a language communicating status, occasion, virtue, or a message to those around you. When you wear our Kente, you wear a conversation and a piece of history.
